As a warm up (not sure that is the right phrase) to my long leave I am off to Canada tomorrow for a skiing trip. I went there with a group in 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed it so looking forward to much the same.

I tend to keep a written journal on holidays and trips and will do so again in Canada but will copy it into this blog when I get back, as practice for future trips. There I have said it now so I'll have to do it!

I fly out from Heathrow at 13:30 on an Air Canada flight to Calgary then transfer to Banff.

oh blimey it is this year!

Yes indeed I am now in the year of my long leave. Better start planning something!

Well I do have a few things planned including:
Trip to Gibraltar in May, Knoydart in July. I plan to go to Bisley in August and a big trip in September and October.

My long leave begins on the week commnecing 4th April 2010 and I will return on the week beginning 31 October 2010.
